Today’s Family Minute dealt with the 2nd Pillar of Love… Kindness. We talked about how kindness consists of four core ingredients… gentleness, helpfulness, willingness, and initiative. Marriage is not easy. It takes work. In fact, it takes hard work to bring two different people together for a lifetime. In the movie Fireproof, Capt. Caleb Holt is watching his marriage fail right before his eyes. His partner and friend, Lt. Michael Simmons gives him a great illustration of what marriage is.
