Royal Wedding or Royal Marriage: What’s More Important?

There has been a lot of attention this week on William and Kate’s big day.  I bet they spent hundreds and hundreds of hours planning for this royal wedding.  But I wonder how much they talked about what life would be like after they exchanged vows?  They planned well for the wedding, but how much did they plan for marriage?  Time will tell.  I bet William’s father, Prince Charles, could chime in on that issue.

Royal couples are no different than we are.  Many people plan and plan and plan for their wedding, but the remaining 50 years together do not get the attention they deserve.  So before you or your children say “I do” here are some essential questions for you to ask your potential future spouse.  Just remember, a wedding is for a day; a marriage is for a lifetime.
