Today’s Family Minute dealt with feeling pressure as parents to do what all the other parents are doing. There are so many pressures to allow your child to do things that other parents are letting their kids do. It seems that it is so difficult for parents to be different. But, as I said in the Family Minute, it’s a hard and lonely road for a parent who wants their child to be different than the majority, but it is a road that is much more likely to lead to a good life for your child. As many of you know, coach Tony Dungy recently released his thrid book, Uncommon. In this book, coach talks about being different from the rest of the crowd.
