5 T’s to Teach Your Child

5 T's to Teach Your Children_thumb

Talk. Your child needs to learn words that build up, not tear down; words that honor, not dishonor.

Talent. Your child has specific gifts or strengths. Know your child’s gifts and then affirm those gifts to your child.

Treasure. We are stewards of the money that has been entrusted to us.  We should train our children to spend, save, and share wisely.

Trust. Trusting God and trusting you are the two most important things your child must learn. Remember, trust only happens when a person is trustworthy.

Truth. There is no such thing as relative truth.  All truth is absolute.

These five just about sum it up.

With our little guy, we have discovered the difference it makes when we teach him not only how to talk, but how to express himself appropriately.  Kids aren’t polite on their own.  We have to teach them how to communicate well and respectfully.
