Tug-of-War: Work and Family

Life can be demanding and responsibilities can be overwhelming. Family time gets pushed aside because of obligations at work. Date nights with your wife are minuscule, due to having to pull long hours at the office.  You feel like your children are growing up too fast, because you  are missing out on all of their activities. We have all been there, but what can we do about it? Watch and find out!

Mark…great stuff and confirming! I just finished putting all my kids football games and cheer schedules in my calendar, as soon as i finished i came up stairs and saw your blog. I’m currently working on some content on QUALITY VS QUANTITY and my answer to this is YES…do both. I understand it can be difficult to zero in on the quantity piece on a regular basis but in my life i have recently stepped into being more intentional with quantity and i have seen a significant difference in my kids lives when I am present on a regular basis. but as your blog mentioned, you have to be intentional and plan this time or it will get pushed out… love this, thanks again!!

Such good and thoughtful ideas and suggestions Mark! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences, wisdom, heart and ministry with others! I am so excited to just have found it! My husband is now receiving All Pro Minute. I am receiving the Espresso Minute and Family Minute! I am a lover of wisdom and think that we as fellow believers can encourage each other on and inspire each other with the wisdom we have gained. Thank you again for sharing!

Chris, you are so welcome! Being intentional about the quantity time I spend with my kids has been so important in my relationship with each of them.
